The University of Haifa’s School of History now includes five departments: General History, Middle East History, Israel Studies, Jewish History and Art History.
The school actively promotes academic cooperation between its researchers and the students studying in any of these five departments.
The School of History offers its students courses of study in a variety of subjects, taught by Israel’s leading historians. The school’s foundation is the required courses for both undergraduate and doctoral students, as well as academic programs that include research workshops, conferences, seminars, guest lecturers from Israel and abroad, and more.
